Have you ever been to live performance - actors on stage? Yes or No.
This week you watched a Zen Zen Zoe live performance that had been filmed. It was a performance based on Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" which had been designed for touring high schools. Zen Zen Zoe are a physical theatre company. based in Brisbane but they do run workshops here.

On you BLOG write a paragraph about what you saw. You can cut and paste my paragraph on Spamalot, which Mrs Beer, Ms Clemence and I went to see on Friday night.
STATE
Spamalot is a funny, chaotic and very silly musical.
EXPLAIN
It is written by some of the Monty Python comedy team and is a parody of musicals. It is presented very seriously.
EXAMPLE
At an early stage a couple, The Lady of the Lake and Sir Lancelot, sing a romantic song. The tune is romantic but the words are silly, "this is the song that goes like this/this is the song that goes on too long". In the second act the Lady of the Lake barges on stage and sings a song complaining about why she hasn't had any songs after interval. She wears very leaborate and beautiful costumes but what she says and sings is silly.
MY OPINION
I enjoyed it because it was so pretend serious that it was funny.
